Treasured Friend Veterinary Services

What should I expect during a home euthanasia visit?

During the phone consultation you will decide when you want Dr. Kelley come to your home. We will begin by having you sign a euthanasia consent form and establish how you would like the remains handled. Dr Kelley will able to address any questions or concerns you may have during this time.

Your pet will be given a sedative injection to ensure he is relaxed and comfortable in his final moments. After the sedative is given you can cuddle with your pet and say goodbye. We will also create a clay paw print during this time that is yours to keep to remember your friend forever. When you are ready, Dr. Kelley will place an intravenous catheter and give the final injection. Your pet will not experience any fear or pain, he will simply fall asleep for the last time.
